Laimes Brīdis SIA is an accounting outsourcing and financial consulting company in Latvia. Laimes Brīdis SIA provides accounting, business management, financial services and consultations, assistance in starting a business, collaborating with both local and international businesses and individuals. We are looking for an accountant who is ready to participate and implement innovative ideas and can work without paper documents. Requirements for candidates • Education in finance or accounting (Higher Professional, Professional Specialized), • Previous experience in the accountant position, • Understanding of accounting processes and very good skills in navigating the legal acts of Latvia, • Accuracy and high sense of responsibility, • Ability to work independently and in a team, planning working time, • Good computer skills with MS Office programs, • Willingness to learn and ability to quickly acquire new skills. • Knowledge of Russian and/or English language. Job description • Processing and registering incoming and outgoing documents in the accounting programs (MONEO, FIKS, and Horizon), • Creating and maintaining an archive (electronic); • Preparing advance and travel settlement, • Performing asset (fixed asset) accounting and participating in the inventory process, • Accounting and control of settlements with employees, • Calculation of wages and personnel taxes, • Processing bank statements, • Preparing reports and declarations for the State Revenue Service, Central Statistical Bureau, Bank of Latvia, • Ensure the closing processes of the reporting period (monthly, annual) and learn the accounting requirements of various EU projects.
