Financial Risk Analyst

Own and strengthen credit provisioning framework across our Europe hub, from IFRS 9 models and ECL calculations to portfolio monitoring and reporting. Turn risk trends into clear insights that improve decisions, support sustainable growth, and raise modelling standards across the business. salary: EUR 3,000 - 3,500 gross team: Risk location: Riga, Latvia your responsibilities • Design, implement, and manage credit provisioning models in line with IFRS 9 and related standards • Oversee Expected Credit Loss (ECL) calculations on a monthly and quarterly basis, ensuring accuracy in reporting • Monitor portfolio performance, identify risk trends and recommend provisioning strategies • Conduct model validation, back-testing, and stress-testing activities • Prepare high-quality risk reports and deliver insights on credit risk trends and portfolio quality to management • Collaborate with Finance, Credit Risk, Data Science, Product, Collections, and IT teams to enhance risk frameworks and system functionality • Support budgeting processes, financial statement alignment, and provide responses to auditors and regulators • Mentor junior analysts and ensure continuous improvement of risk modeling practices what we're looking for • University degree in Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or a related field • Strong knowledge of credit risk modelling, ECL frameworks, and financial analysis • Practical experience with IFRS9, BASEL standards, and credit provisioning processes • Proficiency in SQL and Excel; experience with Python or R is a strong advantage • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills, accuracy, and attention to detail • Ability to work independently while being flexible and solution oriented • Fluent English what we offer • A team that moves fast, uses AI tools daily, and does not wait for perfect conditions to ship improvements • Health insurance from Day 1 • Performance-based annual bonus • Hybrid work setup with 3 days a week from the office & flexible working hours • Growth opportunities across regions, teams, and markets • Support for learning & development • Active social agenda with team events and company initiatives Vakance no Eleving Group karjeras lapas.
